FCA regulated institutional FX and CFD broker Global Market Index (GMI) has just added yet another senior name to its executive management team.
Finn Jakobsen has joined GMI as Head of Institutional Client Services and Relationship Management. Jakobsen has a solid FX background where he previously served as CEO of technology company Fair Trade Technology, Saxo Bank as a Relationship Manager, and before that, at various positions within Corporate Finance and interbank trading.
GMI has been growing rapidly over the last couple of years, with CEO Ashraf Ebid leading the charge, making a number of key hires including FXCM’s former Head of Sales Chris Hossain-Nelson, Aaron Brown and Dane Baker, Sales Executives from FXCM and IS Prime respectively, former Deutsche Bank CIO and Exness CFO John Taylor, former Pepperstone UK CEO Iain Rogers and the former CEO of PrimeXM, Cristian Vlasceanu joining GMI’s sister company Finstek as CEO.
Finn’s experience and knowledge of our industry is both broad and deep. He is yet another excellent addition to the GMI UK team and I have no doubt he will take our customer service and relationship management to next level of sophistication in solutions and refined customization” said Iain Rogers, COO of GMI.
