LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that former ADSS and Saxo Bank executive Jamieson Blake has left his new job with Basset & Gold after less than two months, joining interdealer broker Compagnie Financière Tradition as Business Development Manager. He will be based in London for the Swiss listed company.
LeapRate had exclusively reported back in May that Mr. Blake had left his job as Head of Client Experience at the FCA regulated, London based arm of ADSS, joining specialty lending and retail investment firm Basset and Gold, as Head of Relationship Management. Jamieson Blake had been a key part of the team which has helped Abu Dhabi based ADSS grow its business in the UK, especially among retail investors. (We reported that ADSS UK had grown its Revenues in 2017 by 38%, with much of that growth coming from the Retail Trader segment).
Mr. Blake joined ADSS in London in early 2016, after spending two and a half years with Saxo Bank UK as the company’s Manager – Private Sales – EMEA. He had also previously worked in senior FX sales positions with R.J. O’Brien and London Capital Group.
Compagnie Financière Tradition is one of the world’s top interdealer broking firms, with a presence in 28 countries. Tradition has a strong presence in the Retail FX space as well, both in Japan and via the company’s 20% holding in Malta-licensed FXDD.
