Liquidnet, the global institutional investment network, has appointed Brian Conroy as its President, effective immediately.
Brian Conroy will be based in New York and will work in partnership with CEO and Founder, Seth Merrin.
Conroy has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Liquidnet, he worked for Fidelity International in London, where he served as President and was responsible for strategic direction and oversight of the firm’s international asset management and distribution businesses across 25 countries. Conroy was also President of Fidelity Capital Markets and Global Head of Equity Trading in Boston for FMR. Throughout his career he also worked for JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, ABN AMRO and SAC LLC.
