Interdealer broker TP ICAP (LON:TCAP) has announced the appointment of Eric Sinclair as CEO, Information Services.
Sinclair will join TP ICAP on 13 November following Frank Desmond’s decision to leave the company after 12 years of service.
Eric Sinclair has a wealth of experience across the financial services industry, and spent 14 years at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TMX) where he was most recently President of its Market Insights division. Prior to working at TMX, Eric Sinclair was Executive Vice President at Spectra Securities Software and Vice President, Reuters.
During his time at TMX, Sinclair led the growth of their data business by focussing on strategic partnerships and acquisitions, as well as the development of new products and services, the company’s sales force, and client services.
