For the second month in a row, multibank FX aggregation service FXSpotStream has reported record figures indicating continued and rapid growth for the company.
Both October total volumes of $824.6 billion and average October daily volumes of $35.9 billion set (by a wide margin!) new monthly records for FXSpotStream. Best previous results for the company were total volumes of $652.4 billion in August 2018, and average daily volumes of $31.9 billion set last month.
Some of the October results to note at FXSpotStream included:
- October’s ADV hit another record reaching USD 35.85 billion – a MoM ADV increase of 12.44%
- ADV YoY (Oct ’18 vs Oct ’17) increased 80.19%
- October’s record high ADV of USD 35.85 billion – the 5th ADV record in 2018 – surpassed the prior ADV high of USD 31.89 billion in September by 12.44%
- Overall Volume (OV) in October hit an all-time record at USD 824.6 billion
- OV YoY (Oct ’18 vs Oct ’17) increased 88.38%
- October’s OV record of USD 824.6 billion exceeds the previous record of USD 652.4 billion by 26.4%
- ADV for all of 2018 through October is up 51% when compared to the same period last year – still the fastest growing eFX cash venue of 2018
- ADV figures for October are based on 23 trading days
