London Stock Exchange Group’s technology solutions provider, LSEG Technology, announced the implementation of a new clearing platform LCH EquityClear. The platform offers risk management and trade processing services with efficient and scalable solution for a range of clearing, operations and risk management processes.
LSEG Technology’s post trade technology provides clients with zero touch straight through processing (STP) and parallel real time processing using hardware acceleration. Trades can be processed in the platform with high throughput and low latency with margin calculations done in real-time. The processing time is significantly reduced and operational timeframes are improved for all participants. The platform can clear and risk manage 20 million trades per day at a throughput of 1600 trades per second. It processed successfully EquityClear’s largest volumes with nearly 80 million trade sides cleared in the first five days of operation.
