The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)’s INVESTORY, the first investment discovery museum in Thailand, has launched an extra exhibition to promote Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) investment on October 24.
SET Senior Executive Vice President Krisada Sektrakul said that SET is committed to providing financial literacy to the public, particularly in the areas of personal finance. After the official launch in 2016 “INVESTORY” has been instrumental as a channel for youth and general public to learn more about financial planning and investment to achieve financial stability, in line with SET’s vision “To Make the Capital Market ‘Work’ for Everyone”.
The extra exhibition named “DCA: The Super Saving Power” has been initiated to encourage long-term investment among Thai people through DCA investment. The highlight of this extra exhibition is the DCA Backtest program, which is a simplified version of SETTRADE.com’s “Backtesting” function, enabling visitors to experiment DCA investment in stocks or mutual funds by using historical data. In addition, useful information and guidelines are provided so that all visitors can confidently adopt the DCA investment.
With INVESTORY’s unique “personalized learning” approach, this extra exhibition features a comprehensive learning process to educate the public about how to grow their savings through DCA investment and find their own DCA plans to fulfill financial goals in the future. Public can access the extra exhibition free of charge.
