Belize financial regulator IFSC has issued a series of warnings about a number of Retail FX and Binary options brokers which are sporting fake IFSC licenses.
First up on the warning list is a firm called FXBrokerPro Ltd., which operates the fxbrokerpro.com website. FXBrokerPro’s website claims, in fairly poorly worded English, that “FX Broker Pro is Company that was founded by the most experienced market analytics specialists,” and shows an address in the UK. According to the IFSC, FXBrokerPro is showing a fraudulent IFSC license number IFSC/60/256/TS/17.
Next is binary options broker Lead Options, operating site leadoptionsb.com. The Lead Options site claims that the company has multiple regulator licenses, in Cyprus (CySEC), the US (the company actually named a non-existent US regulator FSB), and Belize. None of those appear to actually exist. As far as Belize goes, the IFSC stated that Lead Options is showing two fraudulent IFSC license numbers IFSC/60/341/TS and IFSC/60/341/APM.
