Advanced Markets, the wholesale provider of liquidity, technology and credit solutions to banks and brokers globally now offers foreign exchange prime brokerage services through Deutsche Bank. The addition of Deutsche Bank expands the credit capacity of Advanced Markets and enables existing Deutsche Bank prime brokerage clients to designate the bank as its prime broker when trading via Advanced Markets. Advanced Market’s products support direct market access (DMA) trading in spot FX, precious metals as well as contracts for differences (CFD) across financial and commodity products.
The new service expands the range of credit options provided by Advanced Markets and Deutsche Bank. The firm, in conjunction with Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, also offers a fully segregated client funds solution for qualifying clients. In this structure, which was launched in 2011, all client funds are held at the custodial bank under a tripartite agreement. The account is debited or credited daily within 24 hours of the close of the trading day. All customer equity is secure and fully segregated at all times.
Anthony Brocco, Executive Chairman of Advanced Markets stated: “We welcome the expansion of our relationship with Deutsche Bank and are pleased to offer its world-class FX prime brokerage services to our wholesale and institutional clients. FX DMA is an optimal model for hedge funds, proprietary traders and other institutions to trade FX. Providing Deutsche Bank’s FX prime brokerage service reflects our commitment to enhancing institutional FX market access by continuously refining our market model, trading technologies and credit structures.”
In addition to supporting prime brokerage credit structures for qualifying institutional and wholesale market participants, Advanced Markets provides credit through a “prime-of-prime” model to funds and brokers that are not eligible or interested in direct bank prime brokerage services.
Advanced Markets FX DMA platform enables FX market participants to trade on prices streamed by more than 10 leading FX banks in a fully transparent, anonymous market structure. The combination of the firm’s DMA model and its robust low latency trading technology has driven participation from fund managers and other institutions that use FX prime brokerage services to access the foreign exchange market. Advanced Markets’ prime brokerage service complements its margin and secure funds account structures.
