In April 2014, turnover for Alpari in Russia and the CIS was 107.7 bn USD. The figure is down by 18% on this March’s data, returning to the level seen in February. The total volume of trades in the last month encompassed 792,649 lots.
The volume drop off was in line with what we saw across the board for the month of April, check out LeapRate’s newly published Retail FX Volume Index which showed a dip of 6% in April to $281B daily.
