Leading online trading services provider IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) has notified about a transaction in its shares that took place on August 27, 2015.
According to the regulatory filing, IG Group’s non-executive chairman Andy Green bought 6,881 ordinary shares in the group, at a price of 722.97 pence per share. This puts the value of the transaction at approximately £49,748 ($76,714).
Earlier this month, several other directors of IG reported share transactions. On August 7, 2015, chief operating officer Peter Hetherington announced he had raised his shareholding in the group from 129,899 to 175,094 shares. Chief financial officer Christopher Hill, who is set to leave the company in February 2016, back then hiked his stake in IG too – from 44,256 to 86,919 shares.
