Barry Gershon, ex-Global Head of Metals Trading for Jefferies Bache, is joining international derivatives broker Sucden Financial to further strengthen its strong metals presence. The new role will mainly focus on business development in Europe and the Americas, leveraging Mr Gershon’s vast industry experience.
Mr Gershon has been involved in base metals trading for more than three decades, having started his LME career in 1979. He joined Prudential Bache in 1985 and was Global Head of Base Metals from 2003, until the sale of the Jefferies trading unit in 2015.
