Bitcoin Group Ltd, the Bitcoin miner with operations in China, Iceland and Australia, has recently held pre-IPO roadshows in Sydney and Melbourne, with more than 100 potential investors turning up to the events.
The company says the roadshow has generated a lot of interests in Bitcoin Group’s initial public offering, which the company aims to have on ASX later this year.
In addition to a presentation by company’s Chairman, Andrew Plympton and the management team, attendees could benefit from talks given by special speakers, including Martin Davidson, board member of Bitcoin Association of Australia, Andrew Lai, co-founder of Australian Fintech Association, together with Pantelis, member host of Melbourne Bitcoin Technology Center (MBTC) and CMO for BraveNew Coin, and Dale Dickins on behalf of the bitcoin community.
In September this year, Bitcoin Group Limited filed a replacement prospectus for an AU$20 million public offer, with a proposed listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). According to a supplementary prospectus, lodged on October 29, 2015, the new closing date of the Offer is November 20, 2015. The indicative date for quotation of shares on ASX is December 11, 2015.
