Bitcoin Group hires Grant Thornton in effort to proceed with float on ASX

Further to LeapRate’s earlier report about Australian Bitcoin miner Bitcoin Group postponing its planned listing on ASX, the company today provided an update on the matter.

ASX has demanded that the company provides a report from an independent first or second tier accounting firm regarding Bitcoin Group’s working capital position.

Bitcoin Group has hired Grant Thornton to produce such an Independent Expert Report on Working Capital for submission to ASX. Bitcoin Group expects the Report to be delivered this week.

Bitcoin Group has already rescheduled its public float on ASX several times. According to the Second Replacement Prospectus filed in December last year, the listing date was February 2, 2016. The company closed its ASX Bookbuild on January 25, 2016.
