Canadian regulator BCSC warns against Forex and CFDs broker Inter Global

BCSC warning

Continuing its string of warnings against unregulated brokers and other scams targeting retail traders in Canada, Canadian securities regulator the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has added to its Investment Caution List Forex and CFDs broker Inter Global.

According to the BCSC, Inter Global is an offshore firm that claims to be a fully regulated Forex broker and offers an online Forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) platform.

CFDs are considered to be securities under the securities legislation in British Columbia (BC).

The UK watchdog FCA already warned against Inter Global earlier this year.

BCSC became aware that a BC resident was able to open a trading account with Inter Global.

Inter Global is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.

BCSC urged BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
