The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced that its Board has decided to reinstate the authorization of investment firm 1 T.C.R. CORP. LTD, which was suspended on July 16, 2015 amid regulatory concerns.
The CySEC Board has decided to withdraw the suspension of the license as the regulator has been satisfied at how the company complies with the provisions of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007.
1 T.C.R. CORP. LTD had its authorization as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) suspended in July, with the watchdog alleging that the company had violated provisions concerning “persons who effectively direct the business of a CIF”. Back then, CySEC also said that the aforementioned violation “may possibly endanger the company’s clients’ interests and generally the smooth operation of the capital market”.
1 T.C.R CORP. LTD is former 1 Financial ROD Ltd, whose name is associated with binary options brands like Tradarea.com.
