LeapRate Exclusive… Continuing our exclusive coverage of the changes afoot at UK-based spreadbetting, Forex and CFD broker ETX Capital…
We had reported about a month ago that ETX was beta testing a new look website, logo, and consolidated trading platform in South Africa via its .co.za domain.
Well it looks as though the testing went well, and now ETX has already expanded the new look and platform to a few more domains a little closer to home, specifically its Irish .ie and ‘general Europe’ non-UK .com website. We believe that it will just be a matter of a few weeks before ETX brings the new look to the UK as well, changing over its base .co.uk domain to the ‘new look ETX’.
Those familiar with ETX will notice that the company has combined its current ETX Trader retail platform, ETX TraderPro institutional platform and its mobile platform into one new consolidated ETX Trader Pro trading platform.
ETX will still offer MT4 trading and a proprietary Binary Options trading platform.
The UK accounted for more than half (55%) of ETX Revenues in 2014, although that percentage and the company’s reliance on its home UK market is dropping. ETX has recently opened an office in Shanghai, and has been focusing a lot of its marketing muscle in the Far East.
As part of the changeover, LeapRate has learned that ETX sent out an email blast Monday to its affiliate network which reads as follows:
Dear Partner,
You may have noticed some changes to our .com, .ie and co.za domains recently. These changes are the beginning of an exciting new re-brand here at ETX and we hope you like the new look. Over the next few weeks and months, all of our sites will follow these three domains as we roll out the re-brand globally.
There’s nothing for you to do as the banners landing pages will be automatically updated in line with the re-brand. However, if you’re still using our old flash banners, then please log in to your Affiliate Account and select either a .jpg or .gif banner from the banner farm section.
If you have any questions or queries, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with your affiliate manager via email on [email protected], or give us a call on +44 (0)20 7392 1523.
Many thanks,
ETX Capital
