FastMatch, a leading financial technology company focusing on foreign exchange trading, today announced the appointment of Andrew Gibson as Director of Sales – Europe.
Mr Gibson, whose appointment becomes effective today, December 14th, will report directly to Paul Ainsworth, Global Head of Sales of FastMatch. He will be based in London.
Mr Gibson, who joins FastMatch from Tradair, where he was a Global Sales Director, is a seasoned market professional with more than 30 years of experience in the Forex industry.
Prior to joining TradAir, Mr Gibson was Manager, FX Products at ABN Amro Clearing Bank NV for nearly 7 years, where he helped to build the company’s FX Clearing offering. Before that he was Sales Manager – FX Products at Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV for four years. He also held positions at ForexManage Limited, Qanat Ltd and TraderTools.
From 1986 to 1997, Mr Gibson was Futures Broker – Account Executive at Refco.
