New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority (FMA) today confirmed the appointment of Paul Gregory in the role of director of external communications and investor resources.
Mr. Gregory will be joining the FMA’s executive committee from the NZ Super Fund where he has been since March 2009, firstly as head of communications before shifting to the investments team.
He brings significant experience in both communications and the financial sector, having previously held senior public affairs and media roles at Macquarie Group, SKYCITY and Westpac.
Before moving to communications, Mr Gregory was a journalist for 13 years including being features editor at CAR Magazine in London, and a senior reporter at the NZ Herald among others. He is also Chair of the Children’s Autism Foundation.
Mr Gregory will commence his role on November 23rd, and this completes the recent appointments to the FMA’s leadership team.
