France’s financial markets authority AMF has earlier today updated its “Black List” of unauthorized Forex brokers targeting French investors.
The regulator added five new names to the list:
- www.consorfx.com / Trading Technologies HK Ltd;
- www.equitycapitals.com / Equity Capitals Ltd;
- www.ifx4u.com / The Oklycapital Limited;
- www.imcbroker.com / Nordane Group Ltd;
- www.investocopy.com / Investocopy Ltd.
Some of these companies have already received regulatory warnings in other jurisdictions. Investocopy, for instance, was subject to a warning issued by Italian regulator Consob in October this year.
The latest additions take the number of Forex companies featured in AMF’s “Black List” to 79, an impressive number, which however is well below the number of binary options brokers blacklisted by the regulator. Their number exceeds 200.
The lists of unauthorized Forex and binary options brokers are not comprehensive, AMF notes. The regulator advises investors to check the register of licensed investment services providers at https://www.regafi.fr, before commencing trading with a given company. The regulator also reminds investors of the high risks associated with trading Forex and binary options.
