FXall parent Thomson Reuters also has a nice month, with its best FX volumes in over a year.
Forex ECN FXall, and its still-separately-run parent Thomson Reuters FX, each reported a nice month for forex volumes in June. FXall had its best ever month at $123 billion average daily volume — up 14% over May and up 25% over last year June, and well ahead of its previous $110 billion-per-day record set earlier this year in February.
Thomson Reuters also had a nice month, up 5% over May (and up 3% YoY) at $147 billion per day.
These figures contrast nicely with the tepid results reported by rival EBS reported for June, up 2% MoM but down 6% YoY.
