GMO Click Holdings Inc (TYO:7177), the parent company of Japanese online trading giant GMO Click Securities, has just posted its revenues data for October 2015. After a very robust September, today’s data revealed a steep month-on-month drop in revenues at the company.
GMO Click reported operating revenues of JPY 2.2 billion (US$17.9 million) for October 2015, with the result massive 20% down from the result seen in September 2015. Let’s note that another Japanese online trading services provider – Invast Securities, also registered a drop in its revenues in October.
GMO’s relatively weak financial numbers for last month are in tune with the decrease in trading volumes reported by GMO Click Securities. GMO Click registered OTC Forex volumes of JPY 86.19 trillion in October 2015, down 34.3% from the JPY 131.16 trillion registered in September 2015.
