In advance of the release tomorrow of its full Annual Results for the fiscal year ended May 31, UK spreadbetting broker IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) shares keeps powering ahead, and late last week set new all-time bests for share price and valuation.
With IG shares closing Thursday at £8.02 and then Friday at £8.04 – the first time IG shares have topped the £8 levels – the company’s valuation hit £2.94 billion or more than $4.5 billion. And the good news for IG shareholders continued Monday morning, with the company’s shares up to £8.10 in early Monday trading.
IG already gave us a peek into its Annual figures, stating that it had a solid fourth quarter, but didn’t say more than that as yet.
Strategically, IG has been building out its stockbroking platform the past few months, and has been building out its international presence as well, with the UK still accounting for about half of its business.
