Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBKR), a major online trading services provider, has just rolled out a new and updated version of its IB TWS application for Android devices.
The latest version of the solution, officially out on March 29, 2016, offers a raft of enhancements. Some of these are small like bug fixes and changes to configure back button. Also, the ticker lists have been made easier to add/remove, whereas the SMA (Special Memorandum Account) field has been added back to the Account Summary page.
There are improvements to the Contract Search and News screens, which now have cleaner look and easier navigation.
One final enhancement to mention – the username with which one logs in is no longer case-sensitive, although passwords are still case sensitive.
The broker regularly updates its mobile applications. For instance, the enhancements to the app implemented in early February this year include supporting Future Calendar Spreads and enabling users of the solution to actually take their scanners with them.
The IB TWS trading application from Interactive Brokers provides traders with electronic access to stocks, options, forex, futures and futures options on various markets. Users of the solution get real-time streaming data and charts; they can transmit orders instantaneously or use the order ticket; they can monitor their trades and enjoy immediate access to their account balances and portfolio data.
On top of that, IB’s SmartRouting technology looks for the best price available at the time of one’s order and dynamically routes and re-routes all or parts of this order to achieve optimal execution.
