In Market Making, KCG averaged $26.0 billion dollar volume traded, 5.1 billion shares traded, and 3.7 million trades per day in U.S. Equities. The result is down 16.7% from February 2016 levels.
In Global Execution Services:
- KCG Institutional Equities averaged 239.3 million U.S. equity shares traded per day, down from the result of 283.8 million registered in February 2016.
- KCG BondPoint averaged $215.6 million fixed income par value traded per day, markedly up from the reading of $182.3 million registered in February 2016.
Regarding the overall market conditions in in March, consolidated U.S. equity volume averaged $263.5 billion in dollar volume and 7.7 billion shares traded per day. The realized volatility for the S&P 500 was 11.6, markedly down from 18.9 in February 2016.
