International clearing house LCH.Clearnet Group today announced the appointment of Christine Cumming, previously First Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, to the Board of Directors.
Ms Cumming will be joining the Board of Directors of LCH.Clearnet LLC, the Group’s US-based business. She will serve as an independent non-executive director and also as a member of the Risk Committee.
Prior to her joining LCH.Clearnet, Ms Cumming held several leadership roles over her 35-year tenure at Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She held the position of the Bank’s First Vice President for 11 years and has also served as Chief Operating Officer.

Ms. Cumming holds both a bachelor’s degree and doctorate in economics from the University of Minnesota.
