LeapRate has learned that leading Forex and Binary platform provider Leverate has been named as one of the few fintech companies to make Red Herring’s annual Top 100 exciting technology companies list in Europe, for 2016.
The Red Herring Top 100 highlights the most exciting startups from Asia, Europe and the Americas. Hundreds of companies from each region are reviewed in a rigorous 3-step process that looks at all aspects of the company. Getting on the Red Herring Top 100 list is a major goal of many tech startup and VC backed companies, and is viewed in the high-tech and venture capital sectors as one of the most prestigious awards for up-and-coming technology providers.
Red Herring uses more than 20 criteria (see more details below) to analyze the companies. Some criteria are scale-based and some are absolute numbers.
Kobi Gur, Leverate CEO, said the following to LeapRate:
It is an incredible honor to have been selected for this award, not only because it is a reflection of the immense steps we have taken towards helping shape the fintech sector in terms of technology, but because the award considers companies in many technologically advanced industries. To be amongst the finalists truly speaks to the commitment Leverate has towards innovation.
Leverate was selected as a finalist amongst a pool of more than 1,200 innovative companies across Europe in various fields, such as telecommunications, security, cloud, software, hardware, biotech and mobile, after Red Herring’s editorial team evaluated the nominees based on their disruptive impact, market footprint, proof of concept, financial performance, technology innovation, social value, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their respective industries.
According to Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring:
This year was rewarding, beyond all expectations. There are many great companies producing really innovative and amazing products in Europe. We had a very difficult time narrowing the pool and selecting the finalists. Leverate shows great promise and therefore deserves to be among the finalists. Now we’re faced with the difficult task of selecting the Top 100 winners of Red Herring Europe. We know that the 2016 crop will grow into some amazing companies that are sure to make an impact.
As a finalist, Leverate has been invited to present its winning strategy at the Red Herring Europe Forum in Amsterdam, April 11-13, 2016, where the Top 100 winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony.
