Moscow Exchange, or Moskovskaya Birzha OAO (MCX:MOEX), today suffered from further tech issues – this time the problems affected the transmission and publication of data about the RTS index. MOEX confirmed in social networks (https://vk.com/moscow_exchange) that there were problems with the publication of RTS data this morning.
According to a report by Interfax, the data issues emerged at 10:18 am (Moscow time) today, with the normal broadcasting of information restored after 11:30 am (Moscow time).
Representatives of MOEX told Interfax that trading was not affected by the tech issues.
Problems have been frequent at Russia’s biggest stock and Forex trading venue over the past months. On September 8, 2015, trading on the Forex, stock, derivatives and money markets was interrupted for 2 hours due to a technical failure in MOEX’s M1 data centre.
