The DataSpace1 data center will become the focal point of data processing for the MOEX trading and clearing platforms on 7 November 2016. The M1 data center currently the MOEX primary DC, will operate as a disaster recovery site.
DataSpace1 is the first commercial data centre in Russia and continental Europe to have successfully completed the full cycle of Tier III certification. Moscow Exchange expects the reliable, cutting-edge data centre to improve service quality offered to its clients.
To ensure the smooth migration of the trading infrastructure to DataSpace1, the Exchange will run testing of the DC’s status jointly with market participants on 5 November 2016. All clients and partners of the Exchange are welcome to test. Further details of the testing and its schedule will be announced in due course.
All market participants and clients should pay close attention to changes in services addresses used to connect to trading and receive market data in order to make sure that their business operations will be uninterrupted during the migration period. Detailed information on changes made in each of the connection schemes is available here.
