Julian Elliott, one of the first employees at MT4 trading systems integrator Gold-i, has been promoted to Operations Director.
In his new role Julian will continue to be responsible for the day to day operations of the company and will take on additional responsibilities including financial management and client account management.
Julian joined Gold-i as Operations Manager in October 2010 from Princeton Financial Systems (Member of State Street Bank). At Gold-i, he has successfully built up the QA and Support Teams and has overseen a number of significant client implementations.
As a member of the Gold-i Management Team, Julian has worked closely with CEO Tom Higgins on Gold-i’s growth strategy. He will complete an MBA this year through the Open University.
Gold-i focuses on four key areas: helping MT4 brokers to make more money, cut costs, reduce risk and differentiate from competitors. Gold-i will be opening its Shanghai office – its first office outside the UK – in March 2016.
Tom Higgins, CEO of Gold-i, commented,
Julian has been a real asset to the company and played a significant role in our growth. His industry knowledge, client management skills and attention to detail have been invaluable in ensuring that Gold-i delivers best of breed software and the highest service levels in the industry. His promotion is very much deserved and I have every confidence that he will thrive in his new role.
Julian Elliott added,
I am delighted to have been promoted to Operations Director. As a company we have made significant progress over the last five years, establishing ourselves as a key FinTech player in the retail FX market. We have ambitious growth plans over the next few years and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
