New Zealand’s FXPIG launches cTrader as platform diversity continues

The interestingly named Premier Interchange Gateway, which is a managed offshore financial services company based in New Zealand has announced that its direct market access forex brokerage division FXPIG has added Spotware Systems’ cTrader to its choice of retail trading platforms.

FXPIG, an acronym for Premier Interchange Gateway, previously offered the MetaTrader 4 as its sole platform, however, now its clients have a choice of two platforms as the firm is retaining the ubiquitous MetaTrader 4, and adding cTrader, a platform renowned for its algorithmic capabilities.

An announcement on the company’s blog states that this is a soft launch, meaning that the cTrader platform is currently connected exclusively to the company’s direct market access feed, and the firm utilizes a colocated solution at Equinix’s LD4 data center in Slough, England to aggregate liquidity, thus the company promises first class execution and trade quality.
