Playtech PLC (LON:PTEC), a leading gaming software developer, today announced the appointment of Paul Hewitt as a Non-executive Director of the company.
The appointment, with immediate effect, will see Mr Hewitt chair the Board’s Risk & Compliance Committee and Remuneration Committee and sit on the Audit Committee and Nominations Committee.
Mr Hewitt has qualified as an accountant with Arthur Andersen. In the past he has assumed various executive roles, including Deputy Group Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of Co-operative Group from 2003 to 2007; and Finance and IT Director of RAC plc from 1999 to 2003.
Mr Hewitt has also worked as Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Tesco Bank from 2012 to 2014.
