Playtech getting aggressive on Plus500; 360T to Deutche Borse a done deal? …and more – Forex Weekly Look Back

Last week Teddy Sagi’s Playtech corporation successfully issued more shares in the publicly traded company and successfully raised $227 million dollar in the process. Much of those funds are already being put to work as the payment and eCommerce service provider giant purchased close to 10% of Plus500 shares in the open market. What news will break this week as Playtech hones in on CFD broker Plus500?

Meanwhile, rumors coming from several sources in the media have linked 360T’s impending sale to fellow Germany based exchange operator Detsche Borse, in what looks like the most obvious and natural fit for the mega multi-bank forex platform for the OTC market segment. As the first half of the year winds down, will we see further institutional consolidation in the second half of 2015? Stay tuned to LeapRate.
