Spain’s securities market regulator CNMV earlier today published warnings against two binary options brokers, which are not authorized to target Spanish residents but nevertheless do so.
The watchdog notes that GTOPTIONS.com (https://www.gtoptions.com) and B4OPTION.com (https://www.b4option.com) are not authorized to provide investment services as per Article 63 of the Spanish Securities Market Act, which covers foreign currency instruments.
This is not the first time that GTOPTIONS attracts the regulatory attention. Earlier this year – in March, the broker was blacklisted by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), an organization which represents the securities regulators of 10 Canadian provinces and 3 territories. The broker made it to the “Black List”, along with other 36 unauthorized binary options brokers.
