Worldpay Group PLC (LON:WPG), the company which had its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange in October this year, is beefing up the ranks of its Board of Directors.
The company today announced the appointment of Deanna Oppenheimer as an independent non-executive director and chair of the Risk Committee, effective January 1, 2016.
Ms Oppenheimer is founder and Chief Executive Officer of retail and financial services advisory firm CameoWorks LLC. She is a non-executive director for Tesco PLC, Tesco Bank, NCR Corporation and AXA Group. In addition, she is a senior advisor to Bain & Company.
Previously, she worked at Barclays PLC, with her most recent role being that of vice chair, Global Retail Banking. She was also chief executive officer of UK and Western Europe Retail Banking.
Prior to Barclays, Ms Oppenheimer worked at Washington Mutual, Inc.
