OptionRally becomes latest CySEC licensed binary options broker

OptionRally runs on the SpotOption platform.

LeapRate has learned that binary options broker OptionRally has received its CySEC CIF license, making it now the seventh licensed binary options broker (list below). The license (CIF license # 220/13) was granted on November 7 to OptionRally’s parent company Tifozi Investments Limited.

OptionRally has had its run-ins with a regulator before. Back in January, the British Virgin Islands’ financial regulator FSC issued a warning against OptionRally and its parent Tifozi Investments. The FSC warned that OptionRally and Tifozi had falsely claimed to be headquartered, incorporated, licensed and regulated in the British Virgin Islands, when in fact it was not, and never was. We assume that OptionRally and Tifozi got their house in order before getting the green light from CySEC.

Following this week’s closure of iOption, and with the addition of OptionRally, there are now by our count 7 licensed binary options brokers in Cyprus. We believe that several others are on their way as well.

The seven regulated firms are:

Binary Options Broker Platform Provider
Cedar Finance Tradologic
Banc de Binary SpotOption
OptionWeb SpotOption
OptionRally SpotOption
24Option TechFinancials
ZoneOptions TechFinancials
OptionFair TechFinancials
